Rawlinson & Hunter was established in London in 1933 by Alfred Rawlinson, Robert Hunter and John Hannaford. From the early days the client profile was distinguished enough to include a future prime minister.
The original clientele was made up of three distinct groups; inherited wealth, stars of the stage and screen and commercial (including several football pools companies). Robert Hunter was a frequent business traveller and it was due to his efforts in bringing in new international clients that the overseas offices were established; firstly in Bermuda and then in the British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Jersey, Guernsey, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand and, more recently, Singapore.
We have grown significantly in size since we first opened and are now a diverse workforce of 200+ with some exciting talent. We are proud to have established such distinguished clients early on and our reputation for technical excellence, personal tailoring and commitment has only strengthened over time.
We have won a number of prestigious awards, including:
Accountancy Firm of the Year in 2017 and 2019
Tax Advisory Firm of the Year in 2017 and 2019
Trust Company of the Year 2017
