Our employees are our most important asset and we recognise this by creating an environment where staff are given the opportunity to develop their skills and are supported to study professional qualifications.

Whether you are just starting your career in accounting and tax or are continuing to expand your knowledge after qualifying, there are a range of study packages, such as AAT, ACA, ACCA, ATT, CTA, IMC, CIPP that are supported and offered to complement your role at Rawlinson & Hunter.

"The firm has been great in supporting me with my CTA studies, paying for courses and allowing paid leave for studying and exams, but also by taking my studies into consideration with my day job to manage workloads and pressures.

In turn the study package has helped widen my knowledge base, helped me pick up new and varied clients and to work with colleagues in lots of other departments and offices, some of whom I had the pleasure of meeting on my study courses.

Most importantly the study package has helped me drive my own development and the information learnt has allowed me to feel like I can contribute more to the team."

"Rawlinson & Hunter LLP offered me the opportunity to join their non-graduate programme, having not had any previous experience in the industry. The firm is currently supporting me through the ACA qualification after I recently completed the AAT qualification.

I was able to study the AAT qualification as a long distance student with a generous study leave allowance, I have been able to keep on track, maintain a good work/life balance and complete the course at my own pace. The firm has also supported me throughout, allowing me to develop my technical skills, broaden my knowledge and take on various external courses.

I have had many exciting opportunities to apply what I have learnt to real life situations, which has allowed me to expand my skills even further. There is also a great support network within the firm with the other students. The package as a whole provides a fantastic opportunity, which I know will allow me to continue learning and progressing within the Firm."

"After a period of employment elsewhere I re-joined the firm in April 2017 on a full contract with a study package to support my ACCA studies. This differed from a training contract in that it allowed me to study at my own pace and which meant I was able to balance work, study and personal commitments. This approach, I feel, has ultimately benefited my career progression as I have been able to contribute to large project work without periods away on study.

The study package offered included paid external study days at an ACCA accredited training provider and covered all study, revision and mock exam courses along with the actual exam day.

By undertaking the ACCA qualification I have been able to further prove my competencies which provides me with enhanced opportunities dealing with high profile clients."
